Who We Are
A Real Human Being is a podcast about conversation and connection between human beings. Renowned professor and shame and vulnerability researcher Brene Brown said, “we are hardwired to connect with others, it’s what gives purpose and meaning to our lives, and without it there is suffering.” This podcast aims to talk, and to listen, and connect. To learn, to find truth, to grow. To help alleviate suffering, even if only in small ways.
Josh Putnam | Host
Josh is the host of A Real Human Being. An introvert by nature, he has always thrived in deeper, more meaningful conversations. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression, Josh began searching for understanding of mental health, which ultimately led him to the need for connection. And that’s where this podcast was born.
